Terraform & Grim State Summer Tour
Terraform from the midwest and Grim State from Dayton, Ohio was a three week long tour in July with TSLN photographer Trevor Sweeney. The tour went all the way down to Florida and up the east coast into Pennsylvania and back through the midwest ending in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Before both bands met up, Grim State and Terraform had a show before there date in La Crosse, Wisconsin where the tour started. All in all the tour went great for both bands, making new friendships in places they have never played before.
Off Days – Tennessee to Florida
We had an off day while driving from Tennessee to Florida and we found out about Sam Ash Music Store in Madison, Tennessee that a friend from the area was working at. He soon found out that Victor Wooten, one of the best bass players in the world was there doing a clinic. So I decided to take my camera out and snap this picture. Seeing one of the most famous bass players live doesn’t happen all to often.
We also got to hangout at the Tennessee State Park before we left for a long drive to Florida.
After a couple of days off, the tour went on a long stretch of shows all the way up the east coast. First show, Tampa Bay, Florida at The Goat House.
Landfill from Jacksonville, Florida really impressed me when they played their set in Tampa Bay, Florida. This young band have been making huge steps to establish themselves in the up and coming hardcore scene in Florida. Be on the look out for those guys.
One of the more interesting shows of tour. Terraform and Grim State decided to play the show on the boardwalk of Virginia Beach.
