Elle King graced Minneapolis this past Saturday at The Fillmore. The performance was a breath of fresh air, quite literally as for the first time I was pleasantly surprised that c19 precautions were only recommended, as local guidelines no longer require negative c19 test and/or vaccination for entry. I hope this is a trend that sticks around.

Opening for Elle King was Fancy Hagood an Arkansas native and songwriter out of Nashville with this current tour being his first since 2016. His R&B-infused vocal melodys were capitivting.

Elle King, the daughter of former model London King and actor/comedian Rob Schneider, is no stranger to the spotlight with talent to spare. She was preforming hits from her entire discography. Starting off her set solo cup in hand with Good for nothing woman to a roaring crowd, she continued with covers like Long Haired Country Boy by The Charlie Daniels Band and Angel from Montgomery by John Prine. Towards the end of her set she preformed her hit single Drunk and I don’t wanna go home to a crowd many of which were double fisting trulys. Closing her set with mega hit Ex’s & Oh’s off of her album Love Stuff. If you missed her show Saturday and were hoping to experience her performance we’re glad to say that she’ll be back playing at the Xcel Energy Center with Chris Stapleton In October.
