Elephant Revival touring their latest debut Petals stopped by The Cedar Cultural Center with special guests Dead Horses. The intimacy The Cedar provides is perfect for a band of their nature. Elephant Revival’s sound filled the room perfectly, you felt surrounded by every note and movement pulling you in closer to their performance (s/0 to Eric Hohn on sound – good dude, great sound tech). These gals and guys are true musicians out to put on a show to evoke feeling through sound. Watching them between songs is interesting, too; unlikeĀ other shows you’ve been to. Each member shuffles around to the next instrument, tuning, conversing with the crowd. It isn’t like you’re just witnessing a performance, they pull you in and make you part of the production.

If you are in Colorado later this month be sure to catch them at Red Rocks Amphitheater – their sound in this venue is going to be a relaxing evening not to miss.
