There’s a lot of young people still figuring out life at 22. Hell, there’s still a lot of people figuring life out who are older than that, but it’s a lot easier to do when you’re younger, “with the whole world ahead of you” as any boomer would tell you. So to have life even remotely figured out at 22 is an accomplishment.
Case in point is Savannah Conley, a 22 year old singer out of Nashville who has already toured this country behind an EP, with a second on it’s way. since 2016, Savannah’s spotlight has continued to get brighter. In 2016, she was awarded the John Lennon Songwriter’s award. But to have her debut album garner the attention of Rolling Stone Magazine, Have a NPR Tiny Desk Talk under her belt, and open for artists like Willie Nelson and Brandi Carlisle, in the last 2 years is quite the achievement in and of itself.
Wednesday night, Savannah swings through the Twin Cities opening for Ben Folds. What makes this young singer worth seeing? We invite you to the show to find out. And stay tuned for photos and review of the show Thursday morning.
