Shakey Graves played a killer set at First Avenue the other night (11/04/2015). After seeing and photographing him live at Festival Palomino just over a month ago I knew this was a show I couldn’t miss. This dude is very talented. If his guitar playing wasn’t intricate enough on it’s own, combine that with his singing and also his songs using a suitcase kick drum at the same time, and you’re guaranteed to be impressed.

First Avenue had a great crowd that night. It was a good mix of young and old and everyone was having a great time.

Haven’t heard of Shakey Graves? Don’t be embarrassed, it’s cool. You’re just missing out big time, that’s all. We could start with watching these videos.
