A lot of hype has been built up by Corey Taylor and Shawn “Clown” Crahan over the past year on their new album “.5: The Gray Chapter“. With the release of “The Negative One” last month, a lot of Slipknot fans were eager to hear more, for better or for worse.

With the release of the new music video for “The Devil In I“, Slipknot built on their carrer-length tradition of dawning new masks for a new album release. The fans finally got what they wanted to see. Check it out the photo. Can you guess who is who?

Slipknot - New Masks

With no word on who is filling the shoes of Joey Jordison and Paul Gray, we have only these masks and the subtle clues from the music video to speculate on who’s taking over the positions.

As Blabbermouth reports, the group’s new bass player is believed to be Alessandro “Vman” Venturella, the guitar tech of Mastodon and Coheed and Cambria, as well as a member of Krokodil.

What makes the estimate fairly certain is the musician’s distinctive hand tattoo. A mere glance at this photo makes it fairly obvious that Venturella is most definitely the new Slipknot bassist. Stay tuned for official info though.

As previously reported, the group’s new drummer is believed to be Jay Weinberg, son of longtime Bruce Springsteen drummer Max Weinberg.
